eLABa Consortium

The Lithuanian Academic Libraries Consortium (eLABa Consortium) unites 46 Lithuanian research and higher education institutions operating on the basis of joint activities.

The consortium was established on March 26, 2010 by the assignment of the LVU Council and assent of the conference of the rectors of Lithuanian universities. The consortium was signed by the authorities of 31 Lithuanian schools of higher education establishment agreement. The general meeting of the consortium confirmed Vilnius University as a consortium administering institution for the period of 2010-2015 which, together with the other the LABT activities realized the eLABa maintenance and development. Vytautas Magnus University was the administering institution of the consortium in 2016-2017. Kaunas University of Technology in 2018-2023. From 2024, the functions of the administering institution are again performed by Vilnius University.
